The African Glass Catfish
The Afican Glass Catfish (Parailia) belongs to the Schilbeidae family of Catfish native to Africa, where it can be found in the Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Gabon. It is widespread and faces no serious threats.
These freshwater fish often swim in schools in open water.
They are about 10.4 cm long.
Parailia Catfish do not have a dorsal fin.
The base of the anal fin is very long.
There are usually four pairs of barbels.
